| SHORT BIO | Scientific activity is mainly related to the discipline of the Environmental Engineering, Mining and Power Engineering. He is a member of the leading research group on Biomass and Waste Valorization. Specialist in the processing and use of biomass for energy purposes, torrefaction, combustion and co-combustion of biomass with coal, and the application of renewable energy sources in practice. He worked/visited in such institutions as: Delft University of Technology (Netherlands), Energy Research Center of the Netherland ECN (Netherlands), Electricity de France EDF R&D (France), Wrocław University of Technology (Poland), Clausthall University (Germany), Aston University (UK) and Tsinghua University (China). He was or still is the manager and main contractor in international projects (FP7, H2020, InterReg, ERASMUS+, etc.). He is the author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications, 5 academic scripts, 4 patents and many expert opinions and reports prepared for the industry. | |
